Description
Nonyl Diphenylamine is a kind of high temperature amine antioxidant with superior performance, which has good thermal stability, high temperature conditions, anti-oxidation performance, excellent antioxidant durability, oil-soluble and good compatibility with other additives. It has synergistic effect together with other antioxidants, especially with the phenolic ester antioxidant compound. The optimized ratio and control for different alkyl substituents are different with the lower free amine content. It can be widely used in a variety of high-grade internal combustion engine lubricants, thermal oil, high temperature chain oil, hydraulic oil, compressor oil, turbine oil and other industrial lubricants and a variety of grease and fuel oil.

Nonyl diphenylamine is effective at preventing the oxidation of oils and polymers, thereby extending their shelf life and improving their performance. It works by scavenging free radicals and preventing the chain reaction of oxidation from occurring. It also has some metal deactivating properties, which help in reducing the catalytic effect of metal ions on oxidation reactions.
The recommended dosage is from 0.3 to 0.5% by mass.
