It’s made from dodecylphenol by means of sulfuration, neutralization and high-base reaction. This product is a kind of widely used lubricant additive with comprehensive performance, It has extremely good acid neutralization capacity and high-temperature detergency, excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion control as well as good emulsion resistance and oil solubility. It’s well compatible with sulphonates, alkenyl succinimide, ZDDP and other additives. It has an obvious effect in reducing top-piston ring carbon and it is widely used to produce middle and high-grade internal combustion engine oil .
