Major Component: Various monohydric alcohols and terpene derivatives (mostly alpha-terpineol).
Character: Yellowish transparent oily liquid, sparingly soluble in water.
Application: Widely used in the flotation of metallic and non-metallic minerals such as lead, copper, zinc and iron sulfide ores; effective for talc, graphite, sulfur and coal.
Specification (YS/T 32-2011): Grades Special B, Grade E and Grade F available.
